Step by Step SMS Marketing for Real Estate

With higher open rates and faster response times, realtors can gain a competitive advantage and sell more properties with SMS.

1. Create an SMS group

The group is your list, and it comes with tools attached to it that will help you as you progress. You can have as many groups as you want, and it is often a good idea to have one for each specific demographic you plan to serve. An example of this would be a group that is for listings below $x, another list for listings from $x-$y, and another for any listing above $y. This will allow you to better target your clients with listings they are interested in.

2. Setup your auto responders

Auto responders are a great way to give people immediate feedback, as well as set expectations about speed of communication if needed. 3.Create a Drip campaign

There are a few ways to get people signed up:

  • Post a link to a registration form, or a QR code on your website and/or your sales funnel.

5. Send out your materials

Another idea is to send out a list of new properties you represent every couple of weeks. Be clear and concise with your messages, and make sure that the information you are sending is helpful to the list you are sending it to. 6. Set Appointments
